One of the nice things about The Boy being away at college is that when The Girl is at soccer practice or out with her friends we have the house to ourselves. When I got home from my late afternoon run to ease the stress of a long day of work, California Girl suggested that we make the most of the empty house. We thought that we would ease back into HNT this week with an almost SFW picture in which you can tell what is happening but you really can’t see anything. From time to time, we like to post pictures where you know what is happening off camera; but the view though the lens leaves something to the imagination. We’re not quite half nekkid but we aren’t full nekkid either.

Digital Photo Frame

We got my mom a digital photo frame for Christmas and loaded it up with photographs of the kids through the years. It took quite a while to pick out all of the photographs but she really liked the finished product and so did we. In fact, I saved all of the selections so that I can make a DVD later.

I thought that it might be cool to do the same thing here since there’s not going to be a Two for Tuesday this week. So, I made a Flash movie of the pictures we have used for TFT throughout the year. I usually create .WMVs; but SWF seemed to be a better format for a slide show. Please let me know what you think. This is my first attempt at a flash movie.

P.S. I’ll post our last HNT of the year sometime tomorrow.

Update: Since the movie is a .SWF, I embedded a Flash-based video player to make it easier or users to control. It saves band with too. Let me know what you think of it. I’m considering using the player on “regular” videos if it doesn’t have any glitches.

There are three types of days at the office. Short days where you sit around at the office (like a stuffed animal) and don’t do much of any thing; regular days where you work your normal hours and go home at a reasonable time, and long days where you wonder if you’re ever going to go home. I haven’t had any stuffed animal days in a long time; but I’ve had a lot of very long days recently. It seems like I’m always working. So, we decided to make the theme for today “still working”. I wish I really could work like this.
