After the last upgrade, page load speeds seems faster to us. How does it seem to you guys? In conjunction with the downtime, I also made a few tweaks to the configuration. The settings I changed shouldn’t affect speed one way or the other; but should make the site more stable. I know I shouldn’t be modifying configuration settings at the same time I’m performing an upgrade; but, I didn’t think it was much of a risk, particularly since several of the changes were related to the upgrade.

It appears that the family of swallows that live in the eaves of our home have moved out. I’ll watch the entryway carefully for the next few days, and, if I don’t see any activity, I’ll take down the nest. I don’t want to wait too long in case there’s something dead in it. I already have enough fun fishing bloated dead things out of the pool.
