We post a lot of NSFW photographs since we enjoy our photo sessions so much. Of course, we’ve got a lot of other things happening in our lives besides this blog. Like everyone else, our real world lives are hectic and complicated. So rather than posting the pictures taken after we’ve gotten everything ready, we’re posting a “behind the scenes” look at our preparations.

In olden times (i.e. before I used to shave my head) I used to cut my hair with electric clippers once a week on Tuesday night. Now, I shave much more frequently; but, I still always do it on Tuesday. So, one of the tasks before our photo session is to shave my head. Here I am using a HeadBlade, my razor of choice.

Depending on how hard of a workout I get in at lunchtime, I may or may not do another one on Tuesday evening; but, I always take shower after I cut my hair.

For this week’s photo session we decided to make some “spy cam” type photos in our shower. We were a bit worried about accidentally getting our camera wet; but it was fun to do something different. And yes, I always wear my wristwatch in the shower. I also usually wear my glasses except when I am washing my head. (If you look closely, you can see them on the soap dish.)

P.S. We haven’t yet made this year’s edition of our “Independence Day Sex” series; but, as always, it’s on the bucket list.

2009 A Year In Review

January
Did a lot of tinkering with the number of posts on the front page to speed up page load times. Finally I wrote a plugin that shows all posts published in the last seven days on the home page.
Created and published our favorite HNT photo post of the year.

February
Got California Girl a nice skirt and blouse set for her birthday.

Neglected to mention that Married In Ohio celebrated its fourth anniversary.
Survived one of those good news, bad news situations where the “good news” was that the bad news wasn’t as bad as it could have been.

March
Went over 2,000,000 Visitors which is a lot for us.
Created and published one of our favorite Two For Tuesday photo posts of the year.

April
Created and published our favorite HNT video post of the year.
Updated our theme to support threaded comments.
Posted a true click through HNT.

May
Posted our version of Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater on the Titanic.

Celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary by going to dinner at our favorite restaurant.

June
Reminisced about the days that we used to watch us having sex in the mirror.

Had some good pool weather for one of the few times this past summer.

July
Posted a video edition of our Independence Day Sex series.

The Girl passed her driver examination and got her driver’s license.
I weighed 164 pounds on the scale at the doctor’s office.

September
Repaired the car that The Girl drives after it dropped dead and smoke started coming form underneath the hood.
Visited a college with The Girl. Realized how close we are to becoming “empty nesters”.

October
Had a LOT of problems after upgrading our server to PHP 5.3. The upgrade also broke our OpenId sever too.
Started working on the project from hell at work. It’s still radioactive.

November
Added a visitor map to the blog that showed where their visitors were from. Check it out in the sidebar just below the local weather.
Took some fun photos of California Girl changing one of the spotlights in the kitchen

Posted one of my one of my favorite photographs of California Girl for the week of Thanksgiving’s HNT.

December
Published an illustrated post explaining our “bedcam”setup”.

Got a new HDTV to replace our old one which started smoking and had a burning electrical smell.
Created and published the fourth edition of our Christmas Vacation Sexseries.

Because of the battery problems, we could not take as many photographs as we wanted during our last photo session so these photographs are similar to the ones we posted on Tuesday. We know that annoys some of our visitors; but there is always another blog. We had fun after the camera went off which is the most important thing.

Rain was eminent by the time we started our photo session, so we decided to take some back lit photographs in the bedroom. The battery in the camera was about to die but we were able to capture a few photographs before it did. We don’t have any pictures of how we ended; but here are a couple of how we started. The color reproduction isn’t the best since we couldn’t use the flash; however, we sometimes like “flawed” photographs. We hope that you like them too.

We had quite a storm on Tuesday. As a result there was no thought of going outside. We’re just glad that we didn’t lose electricity. Some areas nearby were not so lucky. Since we’ve taken so many pictures in the bedroom, we decided to take a few pictures in the master bathroom as I got ready for the evenings activities. So California Girl gave me a blowjob while I was cutting my hair. I always like blow jobs; even when I’m busy doing something else. And I managed to finish shaving my head without cutting myself.
