California Girl and I are going to the Arnold Sports Festival (AKA the Arnold Classic) in Columbus this weekend. It’s a great event; especially if you are a people watcher. Often, the spectators are more entertaining than the competitors. Of course, watching California Girl is very interesting; even when she’s not doing much of anything. And I get to do it every day. So, here are a couple of photos of one of my favorite views.

• February 29^th comes around (almost) every four years; but it still seems weird. Happy Leap Day everyone!
• We’re having a ferocious thunderstorm right now which is really strange for this time of year; but is much better than a ferocious snowstorm.
• It’s supposed to be 65-degrees today. Amazing weather for the last day in February. I’m sure that we’ll get another cold spell before spring; but that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable. It may be premature; but I got rid of my winter background on the computer.
• We don’t know the exact date yet; but were six or seven weeks away from opening our swimming pool.
• I crossed an item off the bucket list this weekend. It was great!
• We used some Vanilla Cupcake flavored lubricant during our photo shoot on Tuesday. It may be our new favorite. It tastes and smells great!

California Girl painted her fingernails bright red this weekend, a much more noticeable color than she typically uses. We thought that it would be good to show them off in today’s Two For Tuesday post since they did stand out so much. As you can see from the photos, there was quite a contrast. Now that we’ve seen the results, we think that she should paint her fingernails in bright colors more often. What do you think?

I was looking at the sidebar on this site today and noticed that the last entry in the shoutbox was from New Year’s Day so I decided to deactivate the plug-in. It wasn’t being used enough recently to be worth the upkeep. One of the sad consequences of spam bots being smarter than people. While I was at it, I also removed the Half Nekkid Thursday badge. HNT ended some time ago; but after participating for so long, it seemed almost sacrilegious to do anything to it when HNT first ended. I’m sure that our sidebar could use some more housekeeping, particularly with regards to the blogroll; but, that can wait until sometime later when it’s time for spring cleaning.

We ordered some more stuff from Michelle this weekend; but, it hasn’t arrived yet since Monday was a holiday. Until it gets here, we’ll have to “make do” with what we have. We used to just keep plain lubricants around; but we have become BIG fans of flavored and scented products. It really does make a difference. Anyway, here are some photos of us getting going in “Sugar Cookie” mode. A great way to spend a February evening.

• Unlike most years, we haven’t had much of the winter blahs. I think that’s because it’s been unseasonably warm for most of the winter. Until this year, I can’t recall ever working out outside in shorts in January or February.
• I’m a big fan of Linsanity. I know that he’ll come down to earth; but he’s made regular season pro basketball entertaining.
• We used some Sugar Cookie flavored product during our photo shoot on Tuesday. We think it’s funny that we have a bunch of food flavored lubricants, etc. since California Girl and I rarely eat sweets. Our bedroom smells more like freshly baked food than our kitchen.
• I’m still trying to identify why our blog has been intermittently slow. From what I can tell, it’s been “OK” recently. How has the speed been for you?

I got some boxing shoes today. I’ve got boxing gloves and headgear and a groin guard; but, until today, I’ve never had any shoes specifically for the ring. I never had any problems wearing my running shoes; but I learned how much difference the right equipment can make a long time ago. My footwork will still be poor; but at least my ankles will have more support when I’m moving stumbling around in the ring. Anyway, here are a few photos of me in my new kicks. I thought about posting photographs of the shoes by themselves; but thought that these pictures were more interesting.

It’s 11:30PM and I only just noticed that, for some reason, WordPress didn’t actually publish the Random Wednesday post. I had a dentist’s appointment this morning and left without checking it and I’m just now sitting down at the computer to catch up on things. It’s been that kind of a day. We’re going to publish our ENT post a few minutes little early. (Though the post will still be dated for Thursday).

We liked the photo we posted last week of California Girl getting (un)dressed so we decided to post another candid of her.

• We’re having connectivity issues; so I’m not sure who is actually able to read this; but, we still like to post so we have something to look back on later (when things are working more smoothly).
•  We know that the site comes up very slowly if at all. I’m trying to identify and fix what’s wrong; but I haven’t found anything yet. Plase be patient.
•  We got the Gynol II that we ordered on the internet. California Girl’s diaphragm world for us; but its definitely not the most modern method.
•  While I was in the shower after working out on Monday, someone “borrowed” my deodorant and didn’t return it. It was a nuisance since I didn’t have another stick handy. And, I wonder, who steals have empty containers of deodorant? I can kinda understand a wrist watch. But a personal item that has already been partially used? I guess I’ll have to start keeping everything in my locker at all times.

Today is Valentine’s Day and there are things that we’d much rather be doing than blogging. So here are a few photographs of MY one and only Valentine waiting for me to be done on the computer. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone.
