Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008It’s been a very hectic few weeks for California Girl and I. We haven’t had time to do much of anything. So it’s been quite enjoyable when we’ve found the time to relax and do nothing. Here’s a photograph from one of those times.

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008As Labor Day fast approaches, California Girl has a good tan from the time that we have spent in the pool. With all that has been going on, we haven’t been able to spend as much time in the pool as we would like; but she’s still got some nice tan lines. So, we thought that we would show her sitting in the living room showing her late summer tan. Long time readers will remember the comforter from when it used to be in the bedroom. Enjoy. Wednesday, August 20th, 2008This is the latest Two For Tuesday post in history but something is better than nothing. As hectic as things have been recently, it seems like sex is about the only think that we have stayed caught up on. Here are a couple of photographs of California Girl attending to her brand new diaphragm. I think that this was just the first or second time that she used it.
For an antediluvian method of birth control that works, talk to your doctor. For a fun while using it talk to your significant other.

Wednesday, August 13th, 2008We were busy with the kids yesterday doing family things so I didn’t get around to posting our Two For Tuesday post until now. I know it’s almost time for HNT; but it’s a collage and I do love my collages. We’ll be doing a collage as well for Thursday with a current events theme. (Can you guess what it is?) Two For Tuesday – 146
Wednesday, August 6th, 2008Other than a few quick posts, we haven’t been around blogland much any for the past few days. We’ve been busy trying to get everything done before The Boy goes off to college. We don’t mind when we don’t have time to post ourselves; but we really miss visiting everyone’s blog and seeing how they are doing. Every time we’re not blogging for a few days, it seems that someone has taken their blog private stopped blogging entirely. I hope that everyone is still there when we make the rounds later this evening.
It’s almost time for Half Nekkid Thursday so we’re only posting one photograph. Our theme for today is “we’re still here and we hope that you are too”. You get one guess what we’re doing.

Two For Tuesday – 145
Tuesday, July 29th, 2008We mentioned last Tuesday that California Girl and I once again have matching wristwatches. They are “fancy”, at least for us, as watches go. Even though we only got them recently, we actually consider them anniversary gifts. Of all of the his and hers sets we have had we like them the best. They remind us of each other and our marriage and of how big a milestone 20 years is.
Our plan for today was to take a few photographs of us both together in a non-sexual pose. We enjoy our NSFW posts; but our favorites are usually “tamer”. We also decided to post a candid photograph I took of California Girl waiting for me to set up the camera. As is usually the case for us, un-posed pictures usually turn out the best.
Here is the photograph that we planned on taking. You can see the new watches as well as California Girl’s rings. Hopefully it conveys the sense of togetherness that we feel.
Here is a photograph of how our session ended. Most All of our photo sessions end this way which his one of the reason we have them. 
California Girl has quite a tan line.
Update: For once it was warm and sunny (and we didn’t have too much to do) so we finally got outside for our HNT photos!
Two For Tuesday – 144
Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008California Girl says she was out in the sun a bit too much this past weekend; but I thought that the weather, especially on Saturday was glorious. Unlike on Sunday when it rained and we went inside, we were in the pool for around three hours. Nothing beats being in the pool on a great summer day with your very significant significant other. She thinks that she looks a little more tan and a little sunburned. What do you guys think?
And despite my reservations, the matching wristwatch I special ordered came in. So, we were only “mismatched” for a week or so. You can see how we’re once again his and hers in the second photograph. Can you tell that I’ve got a suntan too? We really enjoy the burning days of summer. As always, click to enlarge.

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008It was good pool weather when I got home from work on Wednesday so I spent the evening in the pool rather than editing and posting photos. Since it’s already almost time for Half Nekkid Thursday we just posting a single picture from Tuesday’s photo session. The rest will be in our soon to appear HNT post. Two For Tuesday – 142
Wednesday, July 9th, 2008I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that California Girl’s watch battery died and the replacement needed to be special ordered from Seiko. We decided to look for new witches instead which is a good thing because, even though the hands have stopped moving, the date still advances. So, it’s working perfectly if you only need to know the date and not the time.
After some research, we found a set of his and hers watches that we both really, really liked. They were a bit more expensive than we had planned but, even though it’s kind of sappy, we’ve always had matching watches. The local dealer did not have the men’s model in stock but the ladies model was available. Since she really needed a new watch we decided to take a chance and purchase women’s model and have them order the matching men’s version. Hopefully the order will not be canceled and leave us stuck with half of a matched set.
California Girl is not as fond of shiny new toys as I am; but she thought it would be fun to show it off. So here are a couple of pictures of her wearing her new time piece. I think she looks great with or without her new wristwatch. I especially like her tan lines. You can really see how miss matched my old watch is to her new one in we are in the second picture. Even so, I think we make a great pair. We hope you like California Girl and her new jewelry. Click ‘em to big ‘em.
