January
HNT was suspended for a week.
I finished a major milestone on a project I was doing at work so I came home early and made a movie to celebrate. It’s funny how sex helps us celebrate our victories and drown our sorrows.

February
Celebrated the two year anniversary of Married In Ohio.
The Boy’s wrestling team won the league championship. The Girl scored a hat trick (three goals) in soccer for the first time in years. California Girl and I really enjoy kids that are good athletes and good students.

March
Got a new car. Discovered it was good for other things besides transportation.
Posted our first and only book review.

April
Watched one of the darkest days unfold on a college campus in recent memory.
Got out and about (for sex) for the first time in the new vehicle.

Had some fun both inside and outside of the car.

Married In Ohio was offline for four days while we were on vacation and enjoying life in the 3-D world.

Didn’t have sex under the Christmas tree this year but had a wonderful substitute.

It’s been so long that I had an off day that I almost didn’t know what to do with it. I woke up around 9:30 for some Sunday morning fun with California Girl; but I didn’t finally get out of bed until almost 2:00 in the afternoon. I’ve been on critical projects with deadlines that require heroic efforts to meet before; but I can’t recall a time when so many things have been going on at once. I especially dislike working long hours around the holiday season. I know it comes with the job but, wrestling season is right around the corner and I’ve don’t plan on missing any of The Boy’s meets. It’s his senor season and I don’t want to miss a moment of it.

In case you were wondering, this is what I do on my day off. The picture is actually fro the last time I had a day off; but you get the point.

I haven’t replied to comments (and shouts) since last weekend so I’m going to do that. Then I’m going to go catch up on everyonne’s blog. If I get around to it later this evening, I’ll post a video that we made this afternoon.

And, before I forget, O-H-I-O!!!

As many of you know from the times that I leave comments, I burn the candle at both ends and often am up very late at night. Occasionally it catches up to me and I fall asleep somewhere downstairs rather than upstarts in the bedroom. So, it was not unusual for California Girl who was thirsty and had gotten up to get a drink of water to wake me up and tell me to go upstairs. What was unusual was what happened once I got there. California Girl is not a night person like I am, so I was just expecting to crawl into bed and get a few hours of sleep before the alarm clock went off. Instead, I discovered a very amorous California Girl. It wasn’t long before she was going to get her diaphragm. We were both sleeping a few minutes earlier; but we were still very passionate. We’ve had many, many middle of the night encounters over the years but this was one of the best in recent memory; partly because it was so unexpected. It wasn’t the time of night so much as the fact that there wasn’t a “prelude” or two earlier before it got so late. An evening that began with me sleeping with the television on turned into a very good night.

California Girl gave me a great start to an otherwise miserable day. I was up early this morning making phone calls and sending e-mails in response to a minor crisis at work and was just planning on getting dressed and going in to the office when she came downstairs to check on me. We had some time before my alarm was set to go off so we went back upstairs, threw the towels down on top of the unmade bed and had some wonderful serendipitous sex.

We must make quite a sight to a fly on the wall. While I was carefully resetting my alarm clock to the absolute minimum time required to get showered and dressed and drive the kids to school, California Girl was putting away her robe and climbing up onto the towels. Minutes before, I was one the telephone solving problems and she was enjoying her sleep. Then, in a matter of moments, all of that was left behind and it was just us getting away from it all for a while.

I had a “challenging” day at work but the great start made it much more manageable. I know we won’t be able to have mornings like this every day; but I can’t wait for our summer schedule to begin.

We mentioned recently that we got a new vehicle. We generally call anything we drive a car but actually it’s an SUV. A relatively large SUV. It’s great driving the kids around on weekends like this past one when we were soccer mom and dad. And, since the rear seats fold down, it affords plenty of room for “other things”. Plus, all the back windows are tinted which gives us enough “privacy” so that we can focus on what’s happening inside the vehicle.

In a rare occurrence for me I got home early from work today, and since California Girl was still at the grocery store, I took the opportunity to vacuum out the car. Once she got home and we got everything put away, I asked her if she wanted to “go for a ride”. She read between the lines and was a little concerned about getting blood on the car since she had recently started her period but I told her that’s what towels are for, so off we went.

We’ve gone parking before so we drove to our favorite spot hopped into the back, laid down the towels and started getting undressed. We could see out but people couldn’t see in so California Girl sucked my dick for a while then mounted me. She rode me cowgirl style while I was sitting up. Unlike in our other cars there was plenty of room for everything that we wanted to do.

The atmosphere was great. Good music was playing on the radio, it was one of the warmest days of the year, and there were not that many passers by to interrupt us. The only bad part was that I didn’t bring anything (besides the towels) to clean ourselves off with. So we decided to go home and finish things before we made too much of a mess in the car. I have a feeling that we’ll be doing it again sometime soon. Maybe tomorrow if I can talk California Girl into it.

I mentioned in our last post how busy we are on Saturdays in fall. We also have a lot to do on Saturday in the winter so we have a special Saturday schedule when the kids are playing sports. First, I get up early and take The Boy to school so he can prepare and ride the bus with his teammates. Then I come home and California Girl and I have a semi-planned Saturday morning sex session. Then we shower, get dressed and drive to wherever The Boy is competing. It makes our Saturday more rushed but it’s definitely worth it. Sometimes, I wonder if any of the other parents can tell what were doing in not to distant past.

I fell asleep on the couch on Saturday and didn’t go to bed at the same time as California Girl but she was “wakeable” enough when I finally went to bed around 4:00 A.M. that we had an amazing, sheet-soaking encounter. The details are somewhat fuzzy but, I do know that we needed to reposition the mattress when we woke up Sunday morning. And since it was raining and we couldn’t go running until later, she added another applicatorfull of Gynol II so we could better “enjoy” being inside during a thunderstorm. I’ve always thought that her diaphragm was a very indiscrete method of birth control. It’s even more so when we multiple encounters in a short time span and she has to add more spermicide.

Even though we were in and out of the house on Saturday, we were home long enough so that the sheets need a thorough washing. So, it as a good weekend even though we both could have used more sleep. California Girl has gone to bed tonight and I will be joining her shortly. Maybe I can give her a reason to wash the sheets again on Monday.

Kelly requested to see our “original” HNT photograph before we added fireworks in the background. It took a long time to cut out the background. It was a fun theme but I’m glad that every HNT post doesn’t require as much editing.

Of corse the most fun was creating the original “scene”.

A reader left a question in the shoutbox for Midwestern City Boy, asking whether I was ever “not in the mood” and how we dealt with that. Although I don’t think about sex as often as he does, that doesn’t make me feel as if I’m having sex just to please him, because Midwestern City Boy is very good at getting me in the mood, even if I wasn’t at first.

Where we sometimes run into problems (and I would appreciate any suggestions from readers who may have been in a similar situation) is when Midwestern City Boyconcludes thatI’m not in the mood, decides to be a nice unselfish guy and not say anything about it, and then gets cranky. Then all sorts of misunderstandings are likely to happen. I don’t know if he is cranky because of lack of sex, or because he had a bad day at work or some other problem that’s not related to me.

I have asked him to tell me if he feels “deprived,” but sometimes he doesn’t feel comfortable doing that. So I’m wondering, what is the best way to deal with a guy who is cranky for reasons unknown? Should I just assume it’s because of not enough sex and take the initiative to suggest sex?

Per Osbasso’s request, we are doing an Independence Day them for HNT this week but there were a couple of photographs from early Sunday evening that I liked that that I still wanted to post.

I like this one because of the emotion. Our faces are pixilated but you should still be able to see the smiles that we have. This probably would have been our HNT photograph for this week.

I like this one because of the relaxed attitiude that it exudes. It was California Girl resting peacefully after our encounter. (I had to get up and go do something.) It captures the carefree spirit of our Independence Day vacation.

Sometimes you can’t tell weather we’re making love or having sex in the photographs we post. Hopefully in these you can.

I posted School’s Out by Alice Cooper this time last year but it’s such a great song for this time of year that I thought I would post it again. For me, the end of school means an extra 45 minutes in the morning and no rushing around trying to get the kids to school before the tardy bell. Long time readers may remember what we do with the extra time. Here’s a hint for newer readers.

Even though we’ve been doing this for a while during the summer monthsit was just as good as the first time. These photographs were taken about 7:25 Thursday morning; about the time I would have been getting the kids into the car if school was in session. I like our summer schedule much better.
