Two For Tuesday – 253

After not having our weekly photo session until Wednesday because I was at boxing class with the kids, we are back to our customary Tuesday night photo session. I still went to evening boxing lass; but, we had our photo session any way, since we weren’t concerned about it being a late night since it was just the two if us. Since it was just the two of us, we decided to take some candid photos of life after kids. Unfortunately, the battery in the camera died after only one shot and the spare battery no longer holds a charge. We intend to take more photos in the days and weeks to come (after I the charge the good battery). Here is our first edition of what will be an ongoing life after kids series.

We mentioned this past Saturday that California Girl got a smartphone and that it would be coming soon to a photo shoot near you. This has been an exceptionally busy week for us; but we still wanted to post some pictures of her with her phone. We’ll update everyone on all the happenings at Married In Ohio land tomorrow or Sunday. In the meantime, please enjoy our very belated HNT post.

With being “empty nesters” becoming eminent, we thought that it would be fun to experiment with the permanent placement of our “bedcam”. We need a spot that’s not too much in the way yet still has most of the room within its field of view. The photos below were taken with the camera positioned in our first option. We’ll try different places in upcoming photo sessions. What do you think of the angle?

P.S. We will feature photos of California Girl modeling her new smartphone for this week’s HNT post. It may be a bit later than usual; but it will be up before the end of the week.

Once both kids are in school, we’ll probably leave our bedcam set up all of the time so that it’s easier to photograph things spontaneously. Since the only thing that we need to do is turn it on, we’ll probably make more movies too. Unlike now when we’ve temporarily been having our photo session on Wednesday night, every day will be photo day. After one more Wednesday photo session we’ll return to our regular schedule In September. Here’s one of our favorite types of photos no matter when it is taken.

We’re practicing self shots so that we can snap a quick NSFW photograph when we ever find ourselves in a “suitable” situation. It’s easy to carry so I took this photo with our regular camera but I need to get good at aiming my cell phone as well. We’ll have an empty house soon; but we still like being outside when we can.

Someone posted in the shoutbox “How about some casual pics outdoors (non sexual) enjoying a vacation trip, fair, amusement park, etc. before winter sets in.” Unfortunately, the daytime temperatures have been over 90°F with “feels like” temperatures even hotter than that. So, except for working out, we’ve been staying inside in the air conditioning. We know that it will probably be minus 20 six months from now and usually enjoy the burning hot days of summer; but it’ certainly not the best weather for outdoor photography. We’re sure that there will be a break in the weather soon. Until then, here is another photograph of California Girl hanging out in the bedroom staying cool.

It’s very late for a HNT post but we never miss our weekly photo session so here is this week’s edition. We recreated our old style photos with the camera mounted on a mini tripod on top of the dresser next to the bed. We usually prefer the full size tripod; but were feeling a bit nostalgic. We’ve also started a dressed/undressed series taken in different places and will be featured sometime this fall.

It’s already Thursday night so this “better late than never” TFT post will be short and to the point. When I’m sick, I need enjoy a little more TLC than usual, something which California Girl is very understanding of. So, here is a photograph of her putting in her diaphragm before coming to “help my recovery”. Now that I’m feeling better, I’ve realized how droopy I was even though I was trying to do everything that I usually do.

I hope that you all have a significant other as good to you as California Girl is to me.
