Two For Tuesday – 301
Eye-Fi cards are great except when they don’t work which is what happened on Tuesday. I uninstalled and reinstalled the software, I deleted and re-added the wireless network; but our pictures still would not upload. Instead of doing all of that, I could have used the Eye-Fi adapter to copy the pictures to our computer; but I wanted to get it working. What finally resolved the issue was the magic cure for anything and everything that ails Windows PCs (i.e. rebooting). I’m kinda frustrated; because we had our photo session on Tuesday; but are only just now publishing this post.
Anyway, here are some photographs of California Girl and her diaphragm. She’s not sure whether it’s the difference in material or the slightly smaller size; but the new one is much easier to insert. Since diaphragms are used by less than 0.2% of women there isn’t a lot new research being done or information being published.

Our new camera has eye fi technology but I have not had time to really delve into setup. I installed the sofware that came with it and it crashed everytime I opened it and I just put it on the back burner. Thanks for the reminder!

Viemoira: Eye-Fi is great technology when it works. The Eye-Fi Center software is Adobe AIR-based (or at least our version is) so its slow and finicky; but once you’ve run it once and set everything up in terms of where to save photos and videos, you hardly ever need to run it again.
Kudos for her for being able to insert those things! I never could get the hang of it.
Michelle: She wasn’t as well practiced with it when she first started using it; but she had problems with birth control pills and some of the other things that she tried so we were running out of options.
There is a definate knack to propper use, Thanks for the great set. Jim
Carolina Jim: She’s been using it since the early 90s so she’s got a lot of practice.
