The Days Of Summer
There have been slightly fewer posts than usual around here. Not because we are running out of things to say; but because the weather has been warm and dry so we’ve been outside enjoying the weather. For most of the spring, sunny skies were an infrequent occurrence; so we’ve been trying to have fun in the sun before while we can. Summer doesn’t officially begin four a couple of weeks; but, it’s already here if you have a pool in your backyard like we do. We had a god run in our new shoes on Sunday. And, even though I had to go to the dentist and get a filling this morning, we’re going to grill out this evening. The long days of “summer” are great (at least when it’s not raining).

I have been steady Asics 2160′s but my wife likes Saucony.
BC Mike: In an eerily strange coincidence, I wear GT-2160s and California Girl wears Saucony.
Yikes !
BC Mike: Truth really is stranger than fiction. California Girl got Omni 9s. Hopefully that is at least a different model than what your wife wears.
Now I will have to check.
BC Mike: OK. Let us know. This is a strange coincidence.
They are Ride 3…so the symmetry is over . Happy night here , our hockey team eked out a win over Boston.
Very exciting. Are you going through pain with the Buckeyes ? there was some talk about Pryor coming up here to the CFL, now he is not.
It has been really nice here lately and I am trying to enjoy it as much as possible. I need new sneakers- I melted mine getting a bit too close to the fire at camp

Viemoira: The rains are supposed to return on Thursday, so we are already making plans to get in the pool when I get home from work on Wednesday. We purchase our shoes at a runner’s specialty shop. They are slightly more expensive there; but the service is excellent, which is important if you want good, well-fitting shoes to help avoid breaking down. Things weren’t always that way; but our bodies are not as resilient as they used to be.
I am a fan of championship competitions in almost any sport so I watched the game. I especially like the Stanly Cup because there is only one and the winner only gets to keep it for a year.
The coach resigning/being forced out is a bigger los than the QB. He was only going to be able to play half the season any way. Now the entire program is in disarray. Pryor would be great in the CFL; he’ll NEVER be a starting QB in the NFL.
