Two For Tuesday – 291
There have been some fierce thunderstorms in the area and we’ve were under a tornado watch for most of the evening; but, thankfully, the worst weather (at least for Ohio) was some distance away. With all of the earthquakes, tsunamis, flooding and tornados that have happened this year, we consider ourselves fortunate to have “only” golf-ball sized hail. Today were glad to be inside even though we’ve held our photo sessions indoors this entire spring. So here are our today’s photographs. We’ll post the rest the set shortly (assuming we still have electricity).
You guys are fabulous! I don’t think I would ever get to take pictures like that, let alone publish them! Thanks so much for sharing!
Fat Controller: Thank you. Our philosophy is that you never know what tomorrow may bring so we try to have fun while we can. Years from now, we don’t want to be thinking back about things we wish that we would have done. It’s (relatively) harmless fun.
It’s hard not to think about jumping on CG…especially that first pic. Please excuse what I am thinking right now…
BC Mike: We thing that the top photo is a great picture too. I was still in the midst of setting up the tripod and mounting the camera to it; bit I couldn’t resist taking a quick candid snapshot.

Did the hail cause you any damage?

Viemoira: We keep all of our cars in the garage so, thankfully, it was a non-event for us. But a lot of cars were damaged locally; especially in parking lots (and at automobile dealerships).
