Still Inseparable
The Girl went to visit The Boy this past weekend. We thought that it was good, especially since he won’t be able to make it home for Easter. Their schools aren’t really far apart; so it isn’t a super long drive; but, as parents, you always worry whenever a teenager is making a road trip; particularly in an older vehicle. Thankfully, her drive was uneventful, and they had a good visit. They’ve always been close, especially for brother and sister and, haven’t both been home at the same time (except for the holidays); so they were kinda missing each other. California Girl and I haven’t had the best luck with cars and consumer electronics and things around the house; but both of our kids are amazing. They were inseparable when they were small babies and are still “connected at the hip” today.

That is GREAT! Our kids, although 3 years apart each, are pretty close as well. They support one another and try to stay in touch as much as possible. You guys are lucky to have such a loving family. We’re pretty lucky as well.
Mr MD: We have bad luck with a lot of things (like our still broken lawn mower for example); but our kids are the best. So, even though we had a huge tax bill and need to fix a bunch of things, life is pretty good. On balance, our kids have not had the problems of so many of ther friends.
