Sunday Shorts #5
The “check engine” light came on after I drove through a BIG puddle of water on Friday. It turned out that the electrical system just got wet; but I was worried that it was going to be a lot worse. The last time that happened to me water got into the engine and the motor completely seized.
The oven is not our friend this week. One of the elements is burned out. A PIA to remove since we have a smooth top. And it’s ceramic so it’s expensive. At least it doesn’t have to be special ordered.
I got an email today (Sunday) asking for an update on an email that was sent to me late in the day on Friday. I responded politely; but I was momentarily tempted to say something sarcastic about how I dropped everything else the moment I saw it and worked on it for 12 full minutes before I left for the day.
What I want to know is how can we be having a thunderstorm? It was snowing the day before yesterday. And, it’s supposed to snow on Monday.
