Two For Tuesday – 270
We had been planning to get a new comforter set for a while but never did until one day when we were out shopping for Christmas presents. The master bedroom looks a lot better with the new bed stuff. Plus the set that we purchased came with a few more pillows which can come in handy.
This year, like she has received almost every Christmas for years, California Girl got another “nightgown” that is destined for charity. Long flannel sleep shirts have never been good gifts for her. We keep our home warm so she doesn’t need the warmth; and they are definitely not “easy access” which, for us, is a very important consideration.
Here is a photo of California Girl “dressed” in a top that more suits her and our “master bedroom is and has always been off limits to kids” lifestyle.
And, although it will be in the background of many of our new photographs, here is a close-up of the new bedding and California Girl in a see-thru top.
For a great time while you are on Christmas vacation, talk to your significant other.

The new bedding is very pretty! California Girl looks more “at home” in the lace!
Chickie: California Girl is a mostly no nightgown at all person with sexy lingerie occasionally sprinkled in; but that’s not the sort of conversation you have with your husband’s mother. When you get sleepwear like that, it makes you wonder how other family members view us.
Love the new bedding! And you can *never* have too many pillows!
Maybe you could use the nightgown and rip or cut it off her in the middle of a lustful moment? The second shirt is much nicer!
Sadly our kids have to go through our room to get to the bathroom with a shower- we are looking forward to adding a shower to their bathroom. Otherwise they pretty much know to never barge in.
Viemoira: We prefer a small bed (i.e. a full size one); but we’ll definitely put the pillows to good use. We probably would try and do something with fun it; but it’s too frumpy for California Girl to wear for very long. It’s already in the basement with the other things that we’ll be donating.
The master bedroom is on its own hallway separated from the others by bathrooms and mechanical space. So we’ve got a lot of privacy even when the kids are home. There’s a LONG story behind it; but, our kids have separate bathrooms which made it difficult to find a house; however, we aren’t disturbed except in an emergency. Adding a shower to their bathroom sounds like a great idea, especially if you can do all of the plumbing yourselves and just need to buy the fixtures. The biggest PAI is removing the old tub and replacing it with a tub/shower combination. Heavy and unwieldy. Hopefully you’ll have enough room so you won’t need to remove the sink or the toilet.
