Two For Tuesday – 268
It took longer than expected to find an artistic effect that we liked that also worked well with un-retouched elements from the photograph. We generally prefer our photos to be “original” without much editing; but we couldn’t think of another way to show how our new eyeglasses look. We both get a new pair every few years; but these are the best ones that that we have had in a long, long time for both looks and vision. (I think that these are the best looking frames that California Girl has had for as long as I’ve known her.) They were kinda pricy; but, since we can’t do anything without our glasses, it was nice to get some frames that made us feel good about ourselves rather than dreading every moment that we are wearing them. Of course, for us, the lenses cost a LOT more than the frames.

Very nice glasses! Are they transition lenses?
Viemoira: Mine are. California Girl’s are traditional. Both sets of lenses were made with the new advanced technology, digitally ground for a specific person and frame, back-surface, freeform, etc. Definitely better in all respects. The only drawback is the cost.
Very, very nice. You both look terrific with them on. The classes may have been pricey but they look worth it.
I like the artistic photo, too.
TemptingSweets99: I see SO much better. Sometimes stuff is just marketing hype and sometimes it really works.
Like everyone with kids, we probably should spend more on ourselves; but it’s hard to find the money.
Very picasso-ish love it
Shibi
Shibari: Thanks. We’re actually going to do an NSFW set with that effect.
I really love that picture!
Alfie: Thanks. We don’t usually do artistic effects; but we really liked this one and may do more on the future. It helps that the original photo was a good starting point.
