A Break With Tradition
We usually take our vacations at exactly the same time each year so it is really weird being on vacation in October. We’re really enjoying it. So much in fact that were considering taking one next February or March to help chase off the winter blahs.
I’m lying in bed “typing” this on my Droid watching California Girl slowly wake up. It just doesn’t get any better than this. (California Girl’s diaphragm case is next to the bed for easy access.)
We’re taken some cool photos for Two For Tuesday; but probably will not be posting them until Wednesday or later since I so do not want to sit at a computer and edit them.
Extra holidays taken out of season are often the best, with little to do but enjoy each other’s company. Incidentally, although I am able to comment as you can see, I was unable to download everying. It froze on “10 items remaining”. Is it just me?
Alfie: Every once in a while, there will be a leach sucking up bandwidth that interferes with other peoples browsing experience. We’ve got software that looks four “suspicions” activity; but it doesn’t always disconnect people as quickly as it should.
Enjoy the vacation and all that comes with it. TW and I are headed out to Cali on Friday to visit my birth dad. Should be fun. Raising the kids, we hardly went anywhere. It’s nice to be able to do these spur of the moment things. Have fun!
Mr. Manic Depressive: Usually, we like to spend our vacations at home relaxing and unwinding from the rush of modern suburban life with kids; but occasionally, we’ll go someplace and do the touristy/vacationer thing.
I seem to be breaking from computer use as much as possible lately… So are you doing anything special on vaca?
