Good, But Really Loud
Since, unlike previous weekends, we didn’t have to be on the road, California Girl and I went out on Friday. We had intended to go to an outdoor club that has live music on Fridays and Saturdays; but, because of the rain, we ended up going to a bar/pub that coincidentally also had a band. One of the reasons that we like outdoor music is that we can control the volume by moving closer or farther away from the stage. You can do the same thing indoors; but, in a smaller enclosed location, it doesn’t make much any difference. We didn’t know who was playing since had not planned on going there; but the band was pretty good. It was kinda hard to hold a conversation; but we enjoyed a small dinner and of course our favorite cold beverage. Because of The Girl’s soccer/travel schedule we don’t have too many free Fridays in the spring; but it’s definitely someplace that we plan on going again. We plan to enjoy life this summer both with and without the kids.
