Having one more person in the house now that our son is home from college hasn’t affected our regularly scheduled Tuesday photo session. The master bedroom has been of limits for as long as they can remember, so the kids probably don’t think much about it when we vanish for a while in the early evening. Unlike many couples in our situation we don’t foresee a “sexual revolution” when our youngest goes to college. For us, a lot of sex has always been business as usual. So, here’s a photograph from a typical Tuesday. And, we’ve also included a “before” photograph in case you were wondering how we got that way.

Gotta keep that sex life alive. I find it so sad when the sex life goes south for couples when they are raising the kids.
Much better to just work around the situation and keep the flame alive.
Inferno: No matter how busy we hot raising a family, we’ve always made a point of persevering husband and wife time. The middle was the hardest part. When the kids were small, they spent a lot of time asleep in the safety of their bedrooms down the hall; and when they were older, they did their own thing and did not need a lot of watching. But in between, they needed a lot of supervision; which made private time more difficult. It required advanced planning; but our sex life thrived.
For Emma and me too, we had no trouble finding time for sex when Eva was a child, and there was no “sexual revolution” when she left home (at eighteen). In fact, in that regard, she has probably cause more interruptions since – by inviting us to look after the incredible bouncing dog.
Alfie: That infernal dog is quite nuisance. Does it really need overnight care? An outside dog is much easier. Or no dog at all. BTW: How old is the dog? Any chance if it settling down?
Having a room that is your own sanctuary is important as a couple with children. Thanks for sharing the hot pics! HHNT!
Viemoira: Definitely. We’ll be mostly the same when both kids are away in college except we’ll probably turn one of the other rooms in the house into a “fun room”.

Do you all ever have sex under the covers? Or do you stay on top of them to take the photos for us?
Chickie: Not that often. We keep our bedroom a comfortable temperature. Plus California Girl has to get her diaphragm. About the only time would be late at night if one of us was already asleep.
Ah, okay. We’re usually under the covers because the ceiling fan is on and that dries everything out as soon as it gets wet. Sometimes we’ll go crazy and turn the a/c down super low so we can comfortably be on top of the covers!
Our bedroom is the hottest one in the house so the rest of the place has to be really cold in order for us to not have the fan on.
Chickie: I hadn’t thought about the fan effect. We keep our ceiling fans on low so they mostly just circulate air. We’re the local utility companies best customer, especially include the gigantic amount of energy it takes to warm up the water in our pool in the early spring.
