It Only Happens to Me
I accidentally swallowed a HUGE fly when I was running today; and, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t cough it up. I was several miles up the trail so there wasn’t a water fountain for miles and miles. It was a miserable run back to the starting point since I couldn’t breathe normally becasue was trying not to completely swallow it. I don’t typically carry water when I run; but this was one of the times when I really wish that I had. It’s be a while since I got home and rinsed out my mouth but it still feels like theirs something in the back of my throat; even though I know that nothing is there. I’m going to my boxing class at lunch on Tuesday; and, unlike some days when the weather is nice, I won’t be going for a run afterwards.

Awe- yuck!
I don’t know why you swallowed the fly but if it happened to me I would want to die. Perhaps you should have eaten a spider to eat the fly that wiggled and juiggled and tickled inside?
Viemoira: I tried so hard you cough it up that I gave myself a nose bleed. Insects are one of the perils of running outside; but usually they are much, much smaller. I’ve decided to be happy that it wasn’t a wasp. I went to boxing class four days this week; but I did run on Thursday afternoon (in a location that I thought would have minimal insects).
