Getting Our Mojo Back
We seem to be getting our mojo back. It’s Tuesday evening and nothing we own has broken since last week. Plus, The Boy is home for spring break. It was a long drive to retrieve him and he’s only home for a week; but things always seem better when everything around the house is normal. We know that three people and very soon just the two of us is “normal”; but we really enjoy it when both of the kids are home. Somehow, it makes the problems that we experienced last week farther away.
We’ve had our weekly photo session; but we plan on eating pizza with the kids and enjoying that “just like old times” mood so we won’t be publishing our Two For Tuesday post until Wednesday. As The Boy was saying earlier today “spring break is already almost half over”.
Glad to hear things are going well again. Enjoy your time with the boy while you can.
Viemoira: We are. He’ll probably be doing an internship somewhere over the summer so we won’t see him for a while.
Time certainly flies. Hope you are all enjoying The Boy’s break!
Chickie: Yes it does. When we stared this blog, the kids were 14 and 12. Now The Boy is in half way through college and The Girl will soon be on her way.
Glad that you got to visit with the Boy. Pizza sure sounds good right now actually.
KittyKillKill: Kids sure grow up fast. He was a freshman in high school when we first started blogging. We’ll get used to it eventually; but we really miss him; especially his interactions with his sister when he’s not around. Kids have the most interesting conversations.
