2,500,000 Visitors
Married In Ohio went over 2,500,000 visitors sometime Tuesday evening! That’s a lot of visitors even for five years; especially since we don’t count robots, feed readers, or other tools which don’t support cookies. We look at it more as a measure of our longevity rather than as a measure of our popularity. We’re not stat counter whores; but we are glad to have been around for so long.
We’re raising a glass, figuratively speaking, to you; especially if you’re one of our old friends who have been here from the beginning. We’re glad that you’re here; this would not work without you. And, we are even happier that marriedinohio.com still exists. A lot of couples have gone from “us” to “ex” over that time. Things being “the same as always” is the real milestone.
I would like to give a special thank you to California Girl. Without her this blog wouldn’t exist and my life would be just as nonexistent.

It’s good to know you two!
Chickie: Thank you! And thanks for following us for so long. I think that you are our longest regular reader. BTW: how long have you benne blogging yourself?
Congratulations!
Viemoira: Thanks. We NEVER expected that we would have nearly that many visitors when we first started.
I haven’t been reading since the beginning but when I started (about 1.5 years ago) I wenr back and read all your archives – does that count. I love your site – not every day but every two or three days I catch up – I hope I never miss it. I’ve watched it as yondan and as don and it’s part of my life. I remember your weather (I grew up on the north shore of Lake Ontario and for the last 4 decades have lived on the Canadian prairies – I love the cantrast). Anyway, congratulations, thanks and best wishes to two wonderful people.
don (aka yondan)
Don: Thank you very much. We’re glad that you have found us interesting. We’ve got a LOT of archives. It will be interesting to see how things evolve in the coming year when we’re empty nesters and have more freedom.
Yes you’ve got a lot of archives, but I’m retired and I’ve got a lot of time.

Don: For us, retirement seems like a far away dream. And, to be honest, one were not sure we want to have. We look forward to the extra free time. But we’re apprehensive about how we’ll far financially. And, even though our life is hectic, we’re not sure we’ll like slowing down.
Holy moly that is a lot of visitors! Congratulations to the both of you!
KittyKillKill: Thanks. We’re proud of our longevity. Five years is a long time. What we’re you doing five years ago?
