One Of Those Days
As many of you know, I take care of things around MarriedInOhio.com myself. It’s usually not a problem being your own system administrator except when you spend all evening trying to fix a problem with your mail server; only to discover that it’s actual a problem on the receiving system. Monday was one of those days. Email was/is a great innovation. But problems are very difficult to diagnose because of all of the servers involved. It’s all fixed now; but I’d much rather have been doing something a lot more fun.
We received everything. It was only replies in certain situations that were not being delivered. So, if you sent us an email recently and haven’t yet received a response, look for a reply very soon.
I bet you all can make up for lost time.
Chickie: We’re trying. But, unlike some couples, we don’t need a much recovery time; so in the world of sex, a day is a long time.
I have experienced similar issues at my previous job… I think I began to truly “burn out” over the years which may be why I am kinda lazy about doing anything special with my bog; customizing or hosting.
Viemoira: I’m not burned out. But I really do seem to run into some strange problems sometime. Our configuration isn’t complicated; but it has a few unusual things that make it “unique”. I like to do things myself except, of course, when things don’t go as planned; or when stuff comes up unexpectedly like it did on Monday.
