Two For Tuesday – 218
I mentioned on Monday that I gave California Girl an Amazon Kindle wireless reading device for Christmas. It’s a great gift so long as you don’t want to read 1984. I even read some on it just to see how it works. It’s really cool even if you don’t like gadgets. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here’s a couple of photos of California Girl and I with her Kindle.

Viemoira: It’s way better than reading on a laptop screen or desktop computer monitor. But the way that you turn pages is much more natural. Very easy to get lost in the book you are reading and forget that you’re using an electronic reader.
Oh cool! I didn’t realize those things were so skinny.
Chickie: I saw photographs online before I purchased it but I didn’t realize that they were that thin either. They are light too. About the same weight as medium-size paperback book.
