HNT – 225
As he does every year for the week of Christmas, Osbasso requested that everyone pick three HNT/blogger participants, but only three and then tell the world what you’d get them for Christmas, if you had the means to do so. We’ve done this every year since its inception and always pick three new people to receive our imaginary gifts. We’ll leave a comment or send an email to everyone Friday to make sure that they see their gifts.
Our three Christmas wishes go to:
Viemoira: I’d give you the life that you want with Beast without any of the issues that complicate life like health issues or barely making ends meet. Those problems aren’t unique to you, everyone has them; but, you really need a run of good luck given some of the things that have happened in your past.
Osbasso: I’d give you a commenting system that you are completely in control of that is easy to use and doesn’t lose anyone’s comments. Haloscan/JS-Kit/Echo really made a mess of things with all of their “upgrades”. I know that you get what you pay for and don’t have high expectations for a free service; but their service was pathetic and got worse with every change.
Anonymous: I’d give you some manners. Using multiple simultaneous connections to try and download the same video doesn’t get the file any faster. It just gets you banned. You’ve been blacklisted so I know you’re not reading this but I wonder how many other people who don’t have automated monitoring/blocking tools whose bandwidth you are abusing.
And, just like last year, here is some gratuitous half-nekkidness for those of you who read this far. Happy holidays from us to you.
Happy Holiday HNT. To find out what Half Nekkid Thursday is all about, visit Osbasso.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!
And California Girl is beyond lovely, as usual
Chickie: I’ve caught a cold; but I haven’t’ been letting it (or the miserable weather) dampen our spirits so its been a great vacation so far.
This is definitely one of my favorite photographs of California Girl.
What nice gifts, although I am curious about the anon story.
Here’s to a Merry Christmas to you and CG. She looks adorable sitting next to the tree.
PS. I am not getting notified of follow-up comments
Rage: The big box goes to the new television which is already set up; but there are a lot of surprises for California Girl and the kids.
I’ll send you an email about the anon story when I have the opportunity
And thanks for the tip about not getting notified of follow-up comments. It was a misconfiguration that crept in during one of the upgrades I did a while ago. Hopefully, it’s fixed now.
Ha! My wish came true! Even if it’s going back to the original Blogger comment box… But you’re right–it was getting pretty sad.
Merry Christmas guys! Stay warm, and be safe if you’re out on the roads!
Osbasso: At least Blogger comments are as good (or bad) as Blogger. One of the “bad” things about blogging is that it’s hard to change providers and let everyone know about it. We’re almost a captive audience. Some people have moved minimal problems; but others have lost content or readers or both.
It’s snowing again; but it doesn’t look like it’s going to last too long.
Thank you so much! Its so nice to be thought of and have made such kind friends blogging! Merry Christmas and that’s a beautiful picture of California Girl in front of the tree!
Viemoira: You are welcome and Merry Christmas to you. We’ll be posting the rest of the series soon.
I don’t know what the story is behind the comment to Anonymous, but I’ve had repeated trouble on another site with getting videos to download/run correctly when using one particular browser – they even crash it sometimes. I usually just switch to another browser when they get stuck (and I do mean STUCK, not just slow). Is it possible that Anonymous is just having technical difficulties, rather than acting out of malice or rudeness or greed?
MP: Sadly there is no chance of it being simple technical difficulties and/or operator error. Whatever they are trying to do could NOT be done with a web browser. They aren’t really even visiting the blog. They are just trying to efficiently collect movie and pictures. Married In Ohio is a web site so people are free to download as much or as little as they want and do whatever they want with it (as long as they aren’t pretending to be us). But they have to play nice. And whatever automated tool they are attempting to use doesn’t.
