Two For Tuesday – 217
Today was a sad day for Bengals fans as #15 was laid to rest. Life goes on. Life always goes on. But, the second, unexpected death of someone associated with the team was a sobering reminder how fragile life is. And, how unimportant sports are in the big picture of things. Peace.

This is the first I’ve heard of this as I do not follow sports but how sad.
Nice pictures, they lighten the mood nicely and show your ongoing team spirit.
Viemoira: His funeral was on Tuesday. All deaths are painful; but somehow, it always seems sadder/more tragic when it happens to the young and strong.
Just dropped by for the first time in a long while and two are just looking better and better
Leavesdr: Thank you!
Isn’t that sad? All the members of the Bengals were so sad too (of course they would be)…and they lost their game. Hoping they would win right after the untimely passing of #15.
Rage: The worst part was listening to the last interview that he did before he died for a local newspaper. H was such a changed man. Everyone used to call him a punk because of all the trouble that he got in. But, listening to him, you could tell that he wasn’t the same brash young man from a few years ago and had developed some humility; and a sense of the way the world worked.
A life taken too young. That’s for sure…..
Rage: At least the Bengals won today in their first home game after his death. It was an ugly victory; but there were a lot of nice pictures and signs in the stadium.
