Because I tend to be the person taking the pictures, there are more photographs of California Girl or both of us together than there are just of me. So, whenever there is a good one, we like to post it. I’m not vain; however, since this is a blog about us, we think that both of us should be represented relatively equally. Carolina Jim and Wife: We know that parents becoming empty nesters is the way of things; but the days of the “fab four” didn’t last nearly as long as we thought they would when the kids were younger. When your kids are seventeen and nineteen, 18 years doesn’t seem nearly as long as it did when they were small babies.

Viemoira: We bought the tripod we used at Wal-Mart for about $20. It really makes it easy for both of us to be in the photograph. We have a lot more fun when it’s both of us.
