Missing Some Loving
I missed out on some loving on Thursday morning. That’s not something that happens very often; but California Girl had a morning appointment with her ob/gyn; so we were limited in what we could do. It has seldom been a problem for us; but one of the drawbacks of using a diaphragm is that it must be left in place for six hours. So she couldn’t freshen up before her appointment and the doctor would have been unable to examine her. We kinda made up for it on yesterday and today; but you can really never make up for missed sex.
It’s only one day a year; but I could really have used the sendoff considering the way my job is going. (I know that work will get better, but it’s probably going to take a long, long time.) California Girl still needs to have her mammogram; but she received a clean bill of health which is the most important thing. The ravages of time caught up with me long ago; but she is a fine woman. In addition to being healthy, she’s also in great shape physically which helps out for other things. We’ve learned not to take being in good health for granted and to enjoy it.
Although it cannot be made up for, it sure is fun to try!

Speaking of the gyno appointment, I have one tomorrow….eep!
Rage: They are a necessary evil to keep the equipment in good operating condition. California Girl used to see a woman doctor who was really good; but she retired, the person one she sees now is knowledgeable but doesn’t have nearly as good of a bedside manner.
