Two For Tuesday – 204
Readers sometimes ask about our camera setup so we thought that we would take a photograph of it. We use an infra red remote control or take interval photos depending on the placement of the camera. You’ll have to wait until Thursday to see the action shots.
I so need a camera with an infra-red remote! What is the actual equipment?
Alfie: We used to have a HP PhotoSmart 618 (which is the same as a Pentax EI-200 except it was marketed by Hewlett Packard and was cheaper) which gave us one remote control. Then we purchased a Pentax Optio 750Z which used an identical remote. (It wasn’t included with the camera to keep the price down so we got it cheap from Amazon.com.) Our current cameral is a Pentax Optio M50. It doesn’t have a remote but it’s much smaller and easier to carry around. The best feature of the Optio 750Z is the flip out LCD screen which makes it very easy to take pictures from in front o the camera. Its “only” 7MP but that’s fine for the web. Unfortunately, the CD does have a couple stuck pixels which sometimes end up in distracting areas of the photograph.
I love seeing California Girl’s tan lines!
Chickie: It wasn’t a good summer for getting in the pool and enjoying the sun but California Girl still has pretty good tan lines. One of these days, when all of the plans grow in or the neighborhood kids grow up, she won’t have tan lines any more.
