This weekend marks the start of the college football season. So we thought it would be fun to have a football themed post. We’ve got high hopes for upcoming season. (We know that the ball is an NFL football; but we don’t have a NCAA one.) I think California Girl does a good job carrying the rock. Of course, there would be a lot more fumbles if everyone played like we do.

Love the football theme and how appropriate for the season. I must admit I am not into college football but do love watching pro.
Rage: We’re both fans of football of all levels. Friday night will find us watching the team for our daughter’s high school. Saturday afternoon, we cheer for The Buckeyes. And on Sundays we support the Bengals. The pros are obviously the best; but it’s fun to watch kids that you know on Friday. And almost everyone in Ohio is an OSU fan (at least when they are winning).
I just had to ask Sweety what NCAA football meant. He looked at me like I had a third eye before explaining.
I prefer California Girl’s idea with the football over anything else!
Chickie: Sometimes I can use too many abbreviations; but that is a fairly common one although it’s more often used for basketball. And believe it or not, people have commented when we used the ball in college football themed photo posts that it doesn’t have any stripes (which are required for a regulation college football). You can’t tell in the photo; but it is an “official” NFL game ball.
I prefer California Girl’s idea with the football over anything else too.
