A Lazy Weekend
After a somewhat trying week, I didn’t do anything this weekend besides occasionally checking the pool chemistry and a quick trip to the hardware store for a few things. Last weekend was very busy as I’m sure all of the weekends in August will be. So it was good to relax and stay around the house. After a bit, I’m going to sit on the couch and watch the finals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. (Don’t tell me who won.) Hopefully, the USA can somehow manage to win even though they are resting their best players. Before I watch the soccer game, I’m going to visit the blog of an old friend that I recently rediscovered and want to catch up with. I also plan stop by everyone’s blog that I regularly comment on and see how your weekends have gone.
In case you were wondering, for us, not doing much of anything on a weekend still includes our regularly scheduled weekend (and evening) activities. With any luck the day will never come when either of us considers sex a chore to be avoided. We also went for our customary Sunday morning run in the park although it was little later than usual. It was warmer than we would have liked by the time we got outside; but it was still a good run. And, of course we’re looking forward to our third workout later this evening.

Nah, sex should never be a chore! Always be something both look forward to in fact!
Enjoy your week!
Kelly: California Girl is very pleasing to the eye (and I’d like to think that I’m not too bad myself) so we never got to the point of being self-conscious about our bodies which I think is the root of the problem with some couples. Instead of being fun, it’s another stressful situation.
This week is already off to a much better start than the last. The chemistry was good so we got in the pool for a while when I got home from work. It cooled of quickly; but it was fun while the temperature was warm enough.
i am glad to hear you were able to have a nice relaxing weekend- especially after your chaotic week and with knowing you have much planned in weekends to come. It is important to take some time to do nothing ever so often!
Viemoira: Although it doesn’t seem like it, our weekends aren’t quite as hectic as they used to be since now that our son is in college we’ve only got one kid in sports. Of course our daughter is always double booked and constantly change her plans; which makes things “interesting”. I’m glad I was never a teenage girl!
