High Summer
Days like today don’t come around too often. The days are long. The kids are out of school. The weather is warm hot and sunny. And we have nothing to do in the evening except get in the pool and enjoy the burning sun. The only thing better would be if we were on vacation. I’ve got some concerns at work; but they are very far away when I’m home in our swimming pool with California Girl.
California Girl has been getting a lot of sun recently. You can probably tell she’s been spending a lot of time in shorts and a tank top. (Like on Saturday afternoon when we were sitting on the sidelines of The Girl’s soccer games.) We’ve been able to get in the pool everyday for the five days so with more sunny weather in the forecast so she should be able to even out her tan.
I know that the economy is still bad and that the long hard winter is around the corner; but, right now, these are the best of times.

Rage: Outside photographs are fun. We do not have a lot of privacy in our back yard so we don’t get to take as many as we would like. We usually have to go to a nearby park and find someplace there.
