Always And Forever
Today is our 21st wedding anniversary! I am blessed to have met such a magnificent woman. After 26 years, she is as much a part of me as an arm or an internal organ. We generally focus on the present; but today is a good day to reflect on the past. It’s been an amazing what we have accomplished; especially considering the how little support we received from our families. I always marvel at how much California Girl believed in me both then and now. We’ve had our ups and downs; but I truly believe our relationship will be always and forever.
We’ll have our customary celebration this coming weekend; but I always like to commemorate the official day. California Girl you are and always will be my best friend.

Congrats! Hope you do something fun. Jen and I celebrate 20 this December.
BTW: word verification for this is “jen.” Too funny.
Ken
Ken & Jen: We’re going to a nice restaurant on Saturday night. It’s rather expensive so we only eat there on very special occasions.
P.S. I made the list of verification worlds myself. It’s not as secure as random letters; but it’s a lot more interesting.
Congrats!!! That is awesome.
Lyndsey: Thank you. It’s been a long time since our chance meeting at a video game in student union and I still remember the moment.
Congratulations!
21 years is a long time, and you are both better people for it. I like when people stay together.
Kate: It’s hard to stay married. You have to work at it and you have to have some luck. We’ve had both. And now we’ve been together so long and complement each other so well that life is nearly perfect.
Ok I admit I had the sniffles reading this!
Congratulations! 21 years is very hard to come by nowadays!
To many, many more!
Viemoira: Thanks. It helps that California Girl is adventurous (and I’m pretty good at thinking things up) so we’re not likely to get bored with each other. We take things one year at a time. Hopefully we have many more great years together ahead of us.
You are two special people and obviously belong together. Much joy to you both on your special day — because for you every day is special.
Rosie: Most days are pretty good for us; but we like to celebrate significant events so we always remember this day. We were together before we got married and it didn’t seem like a big step; but 21 years does feel like an accomplishment.
CONGRATS! TW and I wish you and California Girl many more years of wedded happiness. We’ll celebrate 26 this year! Hard to believe. We were another couple that no one gave a chance. The jokes on them! Congrats again!
Mr. & Mrs. Manic Depressive: Congratulations to you guys on making it to 26 years! People always judge wrongly when they are not “living the life”. You and TW are the only ones who’s opinion really matters.
Congrat’s
My wife and I celebrate 19yrs next month nothing like being with your best friend forever right.
PhantomOpp: Congratulations. Do you have anything special planed? I gave California Girl a diamond anniversary band on the 20th anniversary of our engagement which was actually the Christmas before our eighteenth anniversary.
Congratulations! Sweety & I are sneaking up on our 8th but I just don’t feel like I’ve been here that long.
Chickie: Time flies. It didn’t seem like that long ago when we were living in a one bedroom apartment wondering what we were going to do after graduation. We’ve been together so long now that I barely remember the days before California Girl.
BTW: It doesn’t seem like it now; but, relatively speaking, you were almost a “newlywed” when I started reading your blog.
