Cheerleaders
The Girl accomplished a major milestone on Sunday. It’s a day that we knew would come; but, as a parent, it was still gratifying to see. It doesn’t seem that long ago that she was a small baby who relied on California Girl and I for everything. Now, her mom and I are basically cheerleaders. We advise and cajole; but, she makes a lot of decisions for herself. That’s as it should be since she’s a junior in high school; but it’s still a bit disconcerting since she, like all teenagers, has an unfathomable decision making process. Anyway, Sunday was a good day. A day that was a good for these cheerleader parents to see.
