Happy Easter
I know that not everyone who reads this blog is Christian; but I still wanted to wish everyone a happy Easter. We’ll be sending the taxman many thousands to on Wednesday; but life isn’t too bad if that’s the worst of our problems. Today is a good day to pause and reflect on the coming year. Spring always makes us feel optimistic and hopeful.
Have a great spring break if you are headed south for some fun in the sun. And if you are returning, I hope your break was wonderful.

Maybe not all your readers are Christian but certainly the vast majority of religions and cultures have a spring celebration of rebirth and rejuvenation just as so many have a celebration of the lengthening of days starting between December 20 and 30, and a celebration of thanksgiving for a harvest in the fall.

Yondan: Well said. We’re just trying to mark significant current events, without becoming too religious or political. Not so much to avoid controversy. (By its very nature, this blog is controversial.) But we don’t want to such things to be the real or perceived focus of our blog.
