NSFW Content
Since we have a lot of NSFW content, I’ve been thinking about putting a disclaimer somewhere. Nothing as intrusive as Blogger’s “Content Warning” but something like a “Parental Advisory Explicit Content” or a “NC-17″ banner in the sidebar of the main page. I don’t like splash screens so I wouldn’t want to do one of those. In fact, I’m not sure exactly what I would do. Before I spend time working on it, I was wondering what everyone thinks. Do we need a warning? Or is everything so much in your face that a warning wouldn’t do much good?
P.S. We’ll be up in a few hours with an in your face HNT picture.
P.P.S. Here’s a NSFW photo until then.

Yeah, that would be wise. Most adult blogs do.
That way you can’t be blamed because you have a warning. You don’t have to censor because you’re saying 18 or older or don’t look.
If you were going to do a warning, I’d just do something small at the top of the sidebar.
Kate: I don’t think it’s a requirement; however, some sort of warning/disclaimer seems to be the polite thing to do. But since it would be in the sidebar rather than the main content I’d probably need to use an animated graphic or do something else to draw attention to it. And, we’re not going to censor ourselves no matter what we decide to do.
Chickie: That’s the type of thing that I was thinking. I’m not quite sure what it would look like; but I know I don’t want anything big and intrusive.
I agree, it’s not necessary but perhaps just have a warning up letting others know that this is an adult page.
Rage: I just added one to the sidebar. Hopefully it’s not too overpowering.
