You Know Its Monday When
You know its Monday when you find a leaky water pipe at 3:00 A.M. in the morning and have to turn the water off. Fortunately, I discovered it before it the water got on anything important. Unfortunately, it was in a hard place to reach and took most of the day to fix. I know that is not always the case but it always seems that way. So, I had an unscheduled day off while I was doing the homeowner thing. I would have much rather spent the day getting nekkid and sweaty with California Girl. You have to deal with whatever life sends your way. So, for today, that made me Midwestern City Boy the handyman. It wasn’t the best; but it was a lot better than being Midwestern City Boy paying the plumber we can’t afford.
The leak was certainly not so good. But how lucky that you found it at time in the morning. Makes me glad I now live in an apartment. Happy belated Valentine’s day to the best local lovers.
Ah! I feel your pain I hate days off for other work and not play! Better water then sewer
Rosie: It was bad luck that we had a leak especially in a house so new; but it was good fortune that I found it before anything got ruined. This is not the time when we would want to be replacing things.
Viemoira: I’d much rather work on a supply line than a drain line full of sewage. The only good thing is drains aren’t under pressure so they are “easier” to fix. Of course, they really smell which is an understatement. The worst part is now I’m going to have to work on a day that I planned being on vacation.
