Another Year
I usually slip it in surreptitiously; but observant visitors may have noticed that I added another year to my age in the “About Us” section of the sidebar. Since The Boy is away at school, we didn’t go out to dinner like we usually do. Instead, the three of us just had a quiet dinner at home. It was a good day; but, it wasn’t quite the same without our son. My birthday was the first family event that has occurred since he left for college. We’ve acclimated well; but we really miss him at our traditional family gatherings.
Happy belated! Well, it will make it all the nicer when all four of you get together in the future.
