I Can Sleep When September Ends…Hopefully

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Once again, Two for Tuesday pictures will be delayed; because I was doing things at work when I should have been at home having fun. Work is work; but all of these late nights are getting very old. It was almost 2:00 a.m. when I was in for the night, and that was only because we decided to take a break for a few hours. Our project team will be right back at it first thing on Wednesday. I’m not sure how it will turn out, but I’ve got an interesting idea for HNT. With luck, California Girl will still be awake and in the mood when I get home.

I’ve always liked pictures of women with a drink in one hand and a dick in the other, so I grabbed a couple of bottles from the refrigerator and asked California Girl to try drinking a beer and sucking my dick at the same time. We discovered later that the beer had gone bad. Thankfully, California Girl didn’t get sick like I did since she mostly had something else in her mouth. :D Can you tell what kind of beer she is holding? This is a combination of two great pastimes which we highly recommend. Enjoy.

BTW: Does anyone know the shelf life of beer and if it is shortened by being warmed up?

The Girl has four soccer games this week, partly because it was already a busy week and partly because some games were rescheduled due to last week’s power outage, so I haven’t had time to do much besides be a soccer dad. Fortunately, Tuesday was an off day gamewise so California Girl and I were still able to have our photo session. We’re still getting used to the new camera but California Girl has found it much easier to use than the old one. Here is another photograph that she’s taken of me. Since it’s so late, we’re only posting one picture; but we think the new camera is going to be a lot of fun.

Suitable For Swimming, Really

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

California Girl and I got in the pool on Sunday, and, unlike the last time I wore it in the pool, my “new” wristwatch survived. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the story, back in July, I got in the pool with my supposedly water resistant to 100 meter watch and woke up the next day with water inside the crystal. A lot of water. After many weeks and multiple attempts to repair it, I finally got a brand new watch. I was a bit concerned about getting it wet; but, I needed to make sure the replacement was watertight. And, even though I have bad luck, the odds of receiving two defective watches in a row are very small. So, after watching the Bengals blow it in overtime, California Girl and I got in the pool; possibly for the last time this summer.

Except for a watch, I don’t wear “man jewelry”. So it was frustrating to use my old Seiko after putting it away for what I thought was for good. Plus, even though it’s sappy, California Girl and I have had matching watches since we first got married. This is our third set. We’ve got a really nice set of timepieces picked out for when we’re finally able to live large. Until then, we’ll make do with our “Middle Range” set which still cost more money than we have ever spent on his and hers watches.

Behind The Door

Sunday, September 21st, 2008

Guest_6737 asked in the shoutbox “You mentioned a swing club…can you tell us more of how this works and the actual dynamics of once inside the door”. We were going to answer this last weekend but were unable to post (or really do much of anything) without any electricity. What happens is different at every club and for every couple. Please keep in mind that this post is our perspective, and that we’ not professionally reviewers.

Firstly, I should mention that California Girl and I are more exhibitionists than swingers. We go to swing clubs to see and be seen; rather than engage in hard core sex with other couples. For us, it’s really about the ambience. Generally speaking, people are friendly and outgoing; although there are always some “wallflowers”. The dress ranges from casual to outfits that are too risqué for a club. As the evening goes on and people have been the rooms, you’re likely to see people who haven’t gotten back into all of their clothes. Like any regular party, there’s food, drink (strictly BYOB), music and dancing. Sometimes, there are games and contests to help break the ice; but, if not, the regulars do a pretty good job of it. Everyone is there to try and have a good time. People tend to circulate until they find someone interesting.

There is usually a donation at the door to help defray costs (the suggested amount varies depending on how elaborate of an evening is planned.) It may be different in other clubs; but we see people of all shapes, sizes, ages and colors. It’s a great atmosphere to put you in the mood and see what develops. But, you don’t have to do anything that you don’t want to do or makes you feel uncomfortable. Some people are comfortable getting started in the common areas; while others prefer the private rooms. We think it’s fun to have an audience so long as they don’t become too involved. People are usually polite; however, like anytime a large group of people get together there are going to be exceptions. If you’re really curious, we recommend that you visit a few clubs nearby. They’re more places than you think, even if you live in a conservative area.

Because of the power situation, we didn’t have much any light for our photo session. So, we decided to take some photographs by candlelight. They didn’t come out as out as well as we would have liked; partly because we were using a new camera and partly because a candle isn’t very much light; but they portray the circumstances we were in for the past few days so we’re fond of them anyway. So, here are a couple of photographs of what we do when we don’t have any electricity.

Two For Tuesday – 152

Despite all of the downed trees and power lines, the US Postal Service is still delivering mail. So, the new camera that we had ordered recently was delivered as promised on Monday. The battery was discharged since it was brand new; but I was able to charge it in the evening when I was called back in to work on Monday to resolve several issues. It doesn’t have all of the features of our current camera, and its 8 megapixel resolution is only slightly higher; but, it is much smaller and easier to use; especially for California Girl who is not as much of a technology buff as I am. Anyway, we did the same thing as we do with all of our new cameras; we take naked pictures of ourselves. Here is our first couple of photos with the new camera, one taken with flash and one without. We don’t plan to completely replace our current camera. But we hope to use the new one in simple point and shoot situations.

Electricity

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

It seems like such a simple thing until you don’t have any. As a result of the strong winds that we experienced here in Ohio on Sunday, we didn’t have any electric power from mid afternoon on Sunday until late Tuesday night. We consider ourselves fortunate to have since the utility companies are saying it may be as late as this weekend until power is restored to everyone. Except for losing a refrigerator worth of food and some frazzled nerves we are no worse for the wear. No trees fell on our house; and, amazingly, we didn’t lose any shingles so most of our “clean up” will be restricted to picking up debris that blew into the yard. Our house has many of windows, so there was plenty of light until the sun went down. And unlike many people, we had plenty of hot water. Plus, the weather has been very temperate so we didn’t need heat or air conditioning. So, California Girl and I spent a lot of time engaging in the #1 activity that people do when there’s a power outage.

With the big game coming up this weekend against SC, California Girl and I thought it was time to don school colors and show our support for the Buckeyes. So here is a collage of us preparing for the game. We hope that were still in as festive of a mood on Saturday night. BTW: If you have any predictions say them now. We don’t want to hear it after the game.

Two For Tuesday – 151

Here are our Two for Tuesday pictures for this week. Perhaps when I get more sleep, I’ll come back and write something more. If not, a picture is still worth a thousand words.
