Last Pizza Night
We had the last pizza night for The Boy today. This time next week, he’ll be college bound. California Girl and I really didn’t think about it until The Girl mentioned that today would be his last family pizza night for awhile. The current phase is ending and a new chapter is about to begin. We’re proud that he’s ready to take the next step and think that he’ll do fine; but we’re still going to miss him.

First and last, events that make us pause and appreciate all we have. You have a wonderful family. That is a gift he will take with him. And that will bring him back to you.
My word was Ingres, one of my favorite painters.

Wow- i can only imagine the emotions involved in sending a kiddo off to college; time flies too quickly! Mine will be there before i know it. Best of luck to him!

Kate: That’s appropriate since The Boy will be studying engineering. We went to a nice restaurant and fed him his last good meal today. It will soon be college food for him until Thanksgiving.
Rosie: I just hope that he comes back like he left. Kids change a lot in college.
Viemoira: Thanks. It seems like just yesterday that he was starting kindergarten. Kids really do grow up quickly.
