I love the summer but I hate mowing the grass. Because of the fence, there is a lot of edging. Plus I’ve got a lot of bushes, etc. to cut around. I’d much rather be in the pool. One thing I like, however, is that California Girl is always waiting for me. After a quick shower she usually makes me forget about having to do the homeowner thing. I don’t think she realizes how helpful she is with the yard work even when she doesn’t come outside. Here’s a collage from after the last time I cut the grass. Click an image to enlarge.

Amorous Rocker: Thanks. We actually had another photograph that we really liked but five isn’t a good number for a collage. I need to learn hour to make those Flickr rotating photo things (without using Flickr). Happy HNT.
Michelle: It probably how we “get the party started” most of the time. Knowing that California Girl is waiting to kelp me unwind certainly makes yard work easier to do.

Boo(duh): You aren’t the first woman to say that. I don’t know why women find watching their significant other toil in the yard but we are glad that you do.
I, too, hate mowing the yard. However, having someone waiting to help me forget about the drudgery would be great incentive! Yes, you both have great tan lines.
Mountain Girl: California Girl certainly is a good helper. The more other fun things we have do the harder it is to do yard work. When it’s warm and sunny it’s no fun at all to be mowing around the swimming pool. That’s probably why I don’t mind shoveling snow.
Mowing the yard definitely sucks. There are other hosting sites (like photobucket for instance) that you can do the rotating photos on.

Rage: I’m looking for something that would work with a self hosted solution. Since many of our photos are NSFW, I want to avoid the nuisance of trying to stay within their Terms of Service. It’s a nuisance being your own system administrator. But it’s nice not having to worry what other people think.
