Two For Tuesday – 142
I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that California Girl’s watch battery died and the replacement needed to be special ordered from Seiko. We decided to look for new witches instead which is a good thing because, even though the hands have stopped moving, the date still advances. So, it’s working perfectly if you only need to know the date and not the time.
After some research, we found a set of his and hers watches that we both really, really liked. They were a bit more expensive than we had planned but, even though it’s kind of sappy, we’ve always had matching watches. The local dealer did not have the men’s model in stock but the ladies model was available. Since she really needed a new watch we decided to take a chance and purchase women’s model and have them order the matching men’s version. Hopefully the order will not be canceled and leave us stuck with half of a matched set.
California Girl is not as fond of shiny new toys as I am; but she thought it would be fun to show it off. So here are a couple of pictures of her wearing her new time piece. I think she looks great with or without her new wristwatch. I especially like her tan lines. You can really see how miss matched my old watch is to her new one in we are in the second picture. Even so, I think we make a great pair. We hope you like California Girl and her new jewelry. Click ‘em to big ‘em.

You guys definitly look happy and so comfortable together. I hope your new watch comes soon so you can be a matched pair again

Michelle: It hasn’t arrived yet. It will probably be a while. But at least ##cg can enjoy hers. I’ll be happy so long as mine comes eventually.
