Carolina Jim and Wife: I am right there with you. I won't be buying HP products anymore either. Even when they do support a new OS, they char $10 for the driver disk rather than just posting updated drivers on the web; even if the device is only a few months old. I've run into this problem repeatedly; both with Windows XP and Vista. They've squeezed me for the last time.

After years of wearing and distroying watches because of my job i have elected to go the watchless route. The cell that is perpetualy with me knows what time it is to the milisecond no mater where in this country I end up at the end of the day. at first the bare wrist was noticed but that spot finaly tanned after 35 years. Hard headded is good sometimes. Stick to it. Hewlet Packard is on my never again list because they no longer support a perfectly functioning printer in Vista. Pass the contraceptive jelly please. Sorry for the rant. Best to both of you J&W

DisappearingJohn: I like the Citizens, in fact m we almost got some of them instead of these; but they are made by Seiko and that company is not going to get any more of our money. They'd probably be fine; but it's a hard-headed principle thing now.

I don't know if they would fall into the "too-much" category, but my wife and I really like our Citizen Eco-Drives... We've only had them for two years, but they recharge from sunlight, and never need batteries. Most of them are rated as "divers watches". We don't dive, but we have been swimming with oursz without any problems...
