Happy Easter

I just wanted to take a minute and wish everyone a Happy Easter. It is a Christian Holiday but I think the timing especially this year when it is so close to the start of spring has a special meaning to almost everyone. The taxman cometh soon for a huge check from us; but otherwise, this is a great time of year. We’ve probably had our last snowfall. The days are getting longer. And we have actually had a few days of (comparative) sunshine.
If you are just starting Spring Break, we wish you a good one. If you are returning home after some fun in the sun, I hope that you had a fabulous time. We hope that the summer will to be the best ever for us. We wish that it will be a good one for you too.

Happy Easter to you and your family! The weather has been wonderful this weekend but is going to get cold later in the week and soon daylight savings will be over. I like having the extra daylight when I get home from work, makes it much easier to get out for a walk.

Happy Easter to you and yours. It’s like Siberia here. Thank Goodness Easter won’t be this early again for 150 years.
Here is hoping that you and California Girl had a great Easter holiday. Thanks for the well wishes!

Ms SD: Happy Easter to you. We are hoping that it warms up for good soon. The Girl’s first outdoor soccer game of the season is coming up next week. We really don’t want to be sitting on the sideline bundled up in winter coats. It doesn’t have to be warm; just not cold.
Alfie: I don’t follow the lunar calendar much so I do a terrible job of knowing when Easter is. Spring just started last week so this is almost as early as it can possibly be. Easter is the second week of April next year which should be much better temperature wise. It goes without saying that Easter is a wonderful time regardless of the weather.
Flyinfox_SATX: It was good. And I slept in a bit today which made it even better.
Bill McCool: Hopefully, spring like weather is right around the corner; and the cold temperatures we are experiencing is winter’s final; gasp. Just think. One of these days, tax day is going to be the Monday after Easter.
Mike & Eva: Thanks. Happy Easter to you two.
Hope you had a Happy Easter!
I learned to hide my money when I can. I’ll be contributing more to my IRA this year. I don’t have a 401k. My boss is too cheap. So I had to pay taxes too.
Kate: I know people who are getting $2,500 or $3,000 back. They are happy now; but they complain the rest of the year because they barely have enough money to make ends meet. I can see not wanting to owe but I don’t understand paying an extra $100-$150 in taxes each paycheck just to get it back at the end of the year (without interest). At least with you and me, we’re not waiting on our refund checks.
