Snowbound

We’re having a HUGE snowstorm here in Ohio. It started in the morning on Friday and has been going ever since then. The kids got dismissed early from school (just after lunch) and we were even released early from work on Friday due to the heavy snow. I guess that counts as a half of a snow day. The Boy and The Girl are mad because school would have been cancelled for sure if this were a week day. It’s blowing and drifting so much I can’t tell how much snow there is; but, it’s a lot.

We knew it was coming so the refrigerator is well stocked. And, of course, California Girl has plenty of Gynol II spermicidal for her diaphragm. Even if anyplace was open, we don’t have anything to do this weekend; so we’re not even going to go out and shovel until the storm breaks. The Internet is crawling. I guess that’s what happens when everyone is inside. I may try to catch up on a few blogs; but, as much as I hate to admit it, with the Internet so slow, today is probably a good day to work on our income tax return.

If you live in Ohio or anyplace else affected by the blizzard what are you doing today?
