The bitter cold days have continued. It gets like this every year; but that doesn’t mean that we like it any better. One of the things that cheer us up is when the next edition of the Venus swimwear catalog arrives in the mail. It’s fun to look at and pick out some swim suits that we think California Girl would look good in. Our pool looks like an ice skating rink and summer is still many months off; but picking out new bikinis for the summer makes it seem not quite as far off. So our theme for today is “swim 2008 selection”. We’ll be sure to feature California Girl modeling the new suits when they arrive.

SeaRabbit: I grew up in Ohio and didn’t mind the cold; but, now that we’re more outside people, I don’t like it as much. It didn’t seem bad when all we did was walk to and from the car; but, now that we work out, it seems like we aren’t dressed as warmly. Plus, the kids have so much more to do that keeps us out in the weather. So, even though the winters aren’t any colder, they seem colder. It should warm up here sometime next week. I know it won’t be for good; but it will be a welcome respite.
Anna Louise: There are several that we really like so we’re a bit undecided and haven’t made our final selections yet. I think she’ll look good in all of them and can’t wait to see her in them. The pre-season sales don’t have the best prices; but they sure help drive the wintertime blues away.
Lapis Ruber: You and me both. Recently, it seems like the only time the temperature is double digits is when it’s BELOW zero with wind chill.
Wirthy: in the bedroom not too often. We keep it warm enough so that we can be comfortable without having to bundle up. It makes it easier to have adult fun that way.
That would be a nice way to chase away the “winter blahs”! Happy HNT!
I saw a home make-over show today and thought about y’all! The couple’s only request in the bedroom was that the computer table stay at the foot of the bed however the room was arranged. They even mentioned it when they were putting the furniture back in! Just made me think maybe it was another couple that enjoyed sharing views from their bed!
Chickie: We’re having a veritable heat wave. It’s 31 degrees and sunny outside. If winter was always like this, it wouldn’t be bad. Unfortunately, it will be back to the deep free in a few days. So, planning fir summer helps keep us sane.
Naughty Girl: We certainly live in the internet age. I know when we got our most recent digital camera, a remote control was a firm requirement. I often wonder what accommodations other people make for their bedcams.
