Post Holiday Blues
Now that the holidays are over, we’ve been having a hard time getting back into the swing of things. After a fabulous vacation, it’s hard to wake up and follow our normal schedule. And, our next day off seems very, very far away. Sometimes, I wish we took some time off for spring break like the kids do. We’ve had much the same vacation schedule for many years; so we’re used to a “flat spot” in early January; but, for some reason, this year is much harder than usual. Perhaps it’s because of the long hours at work before the break. Or maybe is because it’s the last Christmas with The Boy. We aren’t sure what the reason is; but, our energy level isn’t what it normally is. Winter has only just begun and we’re longing for the lazy days of summer.

It is strange thinking about the holidays next year and wondering whether the oldest (Senior in high school) will be around or at a new girl friends etc. I suspect he will be back for the holidays but not for long. I hope your energy levels get restored soon and your son’s senior year is a blessing and all he had hoped it to be. Happy Erotic New Year!

Madam Butterfly: We hope he comes home for the entire time; and we’re certain he’ll be home for the holidays at least for awhile. Sadly, the days of the four of us all being in the same place for the whole Christmas vacation are coming to an end. It’s a new phase and it will be and adjustment or all of us. We’re really hoping the upcoming weekend helps us get back on track.
