Digital Photo Frame
We got my mom a digital photo frame for Christmas and loaded it up with photographs of the kids through the years. It took quite a while to pick out all of the photographs but she really liked the finished product and so did we. In fact, I saved all of the selections so that I can make a DVD later.
I thought that it might be cool to do the same thing here since there’s not going to be a Two for Tuesday this week. So, I made a Flash movie of the pictures we have used for TFT throughout the year. I usually create .WMVs; but SWF seemed to be a better format for a slide show. Please let me know what you think. This is my first attempt at a flash movie.
P.S. I’ll post our last HNT of the year sometime tomorrow.
Update: Since the movie is a .SWF, I embedded a Flash-based video player to make it easier or users to control. It saves band with too. Let me know what you think of it. I’m considering using the player on “regular” videos if it doesn’t have any glitches.
You are talented in both fields (including presentations of original art as one).

I like the built in player! I quit watching the movies that you see on windows because I am technologically defective and have a hard time being sure they are erased and when I turn my computer on the movies sometimes pop right up.
The flash player worked fine. A great slide show with a nice mixture of before during and after shots – in everyone of them the love shows through. Thanks for sharing.
Bill: Thanks. But I will say that some days I wonder if I spend too much time tinkering and not enough time doing “other things”.

Chickie: I like the look of the built in player. Unfortunately, nothing seems to work for WMVs except for Media Player. And, when you embed it, it downloads the video all the time, even if the user doesn’t play it which isn’t;’ a good thing given the pitiful amount of bandwidth we have. I’ve been looking to see if I can configure things a different way but, so far, there is no joy.
Lapis Ruber: Usually Flash movies are much larger than WMVs but it works great for slide shows. Sometimes, emotion is hard to convey in pictures. We’re glad that you could see it

Knl66: We have fun weather we post the pictures or not. In fact, we post far fewer than we take. It’s the photo session itself that we find the most enjoyable. Posting and the comments we get on our posts are just an added bonus.
P.S. I don’t think that California Girl will be getting a boob job any time soon.
