Changing Seasons
The weather has turned cold after warm temperatures that seemed like they would never end and California Girl has put away her summer clothes for the winter. I know that summer will come again; but a couple of unexpected bills coupled with a large but expected one makes it seem very far away. When I was young, my mom always used to talk about the “long hard winter”. Since we lived in modern times I never understood what she meant until I was older and noticed how winters in Ohio seem to be drearier and more expensive than summers. I don’t really mind the winters; but it most of our “best ever” moments are in the summer.
Since warm sunny days are so far away, I though I would post a picture to remind me of this past summer. She’s always a bright spot regardless of the season.

Summer should be starting here but we are having rain and storms. Daylight saving started this week and its nice to have some sun when we get home. At least you know summer will be back again and the cold weather is great for snuggling.
Ms SD
Do you ever think about moving to warmer climates? Be one of those people who lives where others vacation?
I know I start planning one of those moves just about every February!
DAMN! I just love a woman in a pair of short shorts! Great pic, thanks! I’m already wishing summer was here again.
Ms SD: Now that I’ve gotten used to having a pool, I’m starting to like the winter less and less. I don’t go snowboarding or skiing much any more; and it seems like every year that people forget how to drive in the snow. We do like to turn on the fireplace; but we keep the temperature in the house about the same year around, so it’s really just for ambiance.
AlwaysCurious: Ohio is home and I can’t see us living where else; but I didn’t mind the warm weather lingering one bit. I’ve been here (or farther nor most of my life); so, even with its flaws, life here is familiar and comfortable.
Mr. Manic Depressive: Shorts are a staple of California Girl’s warm weather wardrobe. Just one more reason to like the summer.
