Far, Far Under The Weather
I seem to have developed a sinus infection which has somehow traveled into the tear ducts in my eyes. So, needless to say I haven’t been going to work, or really doing much of anything. California Girl and I did manage to take some photographs this week, but I have spent most of my time resting my infected eyes and haven’t been on the computer long enough to edit and post them. It’s hard to take pictures when your eyes are glued shout with medication so I don’t know how they turned out. My eyes feel somewhat better today, so I plan to take a look at them this evening and post any good ones.
A TMI tidbit follows. You can stop reading now unless you want to know a gross but interesting fact.
During the early stages of the infection I was imbued with the ability to blow snot out of my eyes. Yuk! I accidentally discovered this while I was running and trying to clear my nose. I hope never again to be able to blow my eyes. Crying snot is truly nasty.

I’ve never seen it, but my eight year old son claims he can blow milk out of his eyes – which he learned in his school cafeteria. Lovely, I know. Feel better.
I’ve heard of that before but never seen it. At least it was coming out of your eyes and nose and not your “main pipe”. Always look at the bright side. *smile* I hope you get to feeling better….real soon.
Di: I’d heard about such things but thought it was urban legend. I didn’t realize that the tear ducts in your eyes were connected to your sinuses until the doctor explained it. Prior to that, I though I had too unrelated ailments.
Kitty: I’ve had the fun of a urinary tact infection where a bunch of “interesting” fluids came out until the antibiotics kicked in and turned everything bright orange. And it burned like fire too. Then I was majorly out of commission. I’m feeling looking MUCH better today.

I cant walk at the moment and I can only imagine not being able to see would be just as frustrating, if not more. Get well soon.

Steve: You are right. It’s just as nasty as its sounds.
Ms SD: I KNOW I’ll get better; but its still very frustrating being so helpless. I’ve had issues before but never with both eyes at once.
