Summer Is Officially Over
It was a hot summer, which is a good thing if you have a pool. In fact, we were able to get into the pool on both Saturday (after the kids sports) and Sunday, the first official day of autumn. After a very hectic September, some time lazing in the pool was a very welcome respite. I’ve been letting things get out of balance a bit too much recently, so it was good to spend some time with California Girl. For the past few weeks, everything seems rushed. I don’t know the next time I will get a break. So I really enjoyed this past weekend.
I can’t believe that we only have 3 months til the year is over.
It’s nice that someone enjoyed and received enjoyment from this hot summer.
Chickie: The year had gone fast, especially the summer. We’ll be closing our pool for the winter I a few weeks.
Rosie: We live for the summer. And the hotter, the better. It can’t ever be too warm when you can go for a cool refreshing swim right out your back door.
