3:00 AM Booty Call
As many of you know from the times that I leave comments, I burn the candle at both ends and often am up very late at night. Occasionally it catches up to me and I fall asleep somewhere downstairs rather than upstarts in the bedroom. So, it was not unusual for California Girl who was thirsty and had gotten up to get a drink of water to wake me up and tell me to go upstairs. What was unusual was what happened once I got there. California Girl is not a night person like I am, so I was just expecting to crawl into bed and get a few hours of sleep before the alarm clock went off. Instead, I discovered a very amorous California Girl. It wasn’t long before she was going to get her diaphragm. We were both sleeping a few minutes earlier; but we were still very passionate. We’ve had many, many middle of the night encounters over the years but this was one of the best in recent memory; partly because it was so unexpected. It wasn’t the time of night so much as the fact that there wasn’t a “prelude” or two earlier before it got so late. An evening that began with me sleeping with the television on turned into a very good night.
That sounds like fun! Gotta love those middle of the night rendezvouses!

How do you keep your sex drive so high? As your husband has said, guys are always in the mood for sex. It seems like you match him round for round though! You always hear about women’s sex drives taking a nose dive once they have kids and such, hell mine drops when I’m stressed and I don’t even have a pet! lol
isnt that the best? great way to end the evening or start the morning, however you’d like to look at it.
AlwaysCurious: My sex drive isn’t quite as high as his, and it did drop for a while when we had small kids. I don’t think about sex as much when I’m stressed, but having sex does help to make me feel more relaxed, so it’s good that I have Midwestern City Boy around to make me think more about it!
Definitely turned into a great thing. Amazing way to wake up from being in limbo.

I have discovered something wonderful in getting older. Sometimes (ok, more often than not), one or both of you has to wake up in the middle of the night to go pee, and well, you’re already awake. So we have woken each other up more often than I can count. Ain’t love grand?
RedheadEditor: I’m happy so long as the other plumbing is in good working order. I don’t get as much sleep as I would like but, when I’m in bed I usually sleep very soundly. Sometimes, even sex doesn’t wake me up.
